Snowflake Obsidian is a dark grey or black color with speckles of white or grey cristobalite throughout. It is usually mined in North and South America. Snowflake Obsidian is popular for its aesthetic appeal, and is often made into beads for bracelets and necklaces as well as ornamental spheres.
