Desert Rose (Gypsum), also known as sand rose, is named after its flower-like formations and sand composition. Desert Rose (Gypsum) is formed by the precipitation of sand and gypsum. This precipitation, or the rock remnants of evaporated water, usually occurs in arid climates.
