Amazonite

Amazonite is a green-blue silicate mineral, its name comes  from the Amazon River where the first deposits are believed to have been found. Amazonite’s colour was thought to have come from copper, however more recent research shows that the green colour comes from small amounts of lead in the water.
Believed to have positive health benefits, these gemstones can be used for a variety of purposes.
