Black Onyx is a kind of semi-precious gemstone. It is mainly all black or has white stripes in it.It has been used for centuries as an ornamental stone. Black Onyx is composed primarily of calcite, with occasional bands of other minerals such as quartz or feldspar occurring in its structure.
